Behavioral Health Scheduling Coordinator
Job description
We are looking for a remote Part-Time Day Hours Scheduling Coordinator to join our team with the possibility of eventually working in our Brighton Office one day a week!
A successful candidate must possess a friendly and empathetic approach toward behavioral health patients and must pay close attention to detail. We are looking for a dedicated, results-oriented individual. We offer a highly competitive hourly rate and encourage remote work.
Working on East Coast Timezone in the morning and some afternoons.
Essential Tasks
Speak to and schedule new clients and match them with the most appropriate form of care in our clinic.
Answer questions about our programs and specialties, including Pediatric and adult Neuropsychological Assessment and Psychotherapy.
Enter client data into our database, maintain accurate clinical records of patients as they are admitted, discharged and/or transferred.
Ensure accurate recording of client information and billing data.
Obtain basic client information pertinent to behavioral health services, schedule client appointments using a computerized scheduling program.
Verify client demographic data, direct them to client registration for updating demographic information.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years in a relevant setting (health care and/or behavioral health)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social work, counselling, health education, psychology, or behavioral health preferred
Required Skills:
Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability and willingness to work in a time-limited, structured, and solution-focused environment
Strong knowledge of computer applications is a must; prior experience with electronic medical record is preferred.
